Types of Competitive Analysis Performed
- Major procurements:
Competitors, teams (primes & subs), direct labor rates and technical
capabilities compared to procurement requirements; teams
scored; means of improving probability of win defined and
recommended.
- Competitor Groups:
Individual companies, divisions, or groups are analyzed;
customer base, contract base, program involvement, rate
multiples, wins, losses, financial performance, strengths,
weaknesses, market niches identified. Continued tracking
available to identify teaming, alliances, joint ventures,
etc.
- Competitive Environment:
ARDAK can identify and rank-order all competitors within
any given market sector or niche (e.g., C3I, sensors, tactical
missiles, information technology); selected competitors
can then be analyzed in greater detail if required (see
Competitor Groups, above).
- Industry Sectors:
ARDAK has analyzed statistically significant numbers of
companies within each of over 40 different industry sectors;
sector averages are now available for plant (contractor
plant) and site (US Government site) multiples within each
sector, as well as analyses of competitors within each sector.

- Prices and schedules vary, depending on
client requirements. All work in this area can normally
be performed on a firm fixed price basis.
