Description of Work Performed for a Competitive Analysis
- Customer identifies procurement, competitors and teammates. (ARDAK supports, collects information if required).
- ARDAK acquires and analyzes draft RFP, RFP, draft specification, bidders list, other available documentation.
- ARDAK analyzes each prime contractor and sub, including probable shares/roles of primes and subcontractors within each team, performance profile, wins, losses, rate structures, client credibility, technology base, related experience, past performance, etc. ARDAK rate multiples of each prime, sub and team, including ARDAK's client.
- ARDAK provides you with the Price to Win (PTW), Rate to Win (RTW) and Wrap Rates to be competitive.
- ARDAK assesses strengths and weaknesses; scores each team against weighted evaluation factors; conducts sensitivity analysis (varying weights); identifies and recommends steps to improve probability of win (or recommends no-bid).
Summary
- Over 100 recent analyses, involving 650 cost centers (companies or divisions) have been completed. Of these, ARDAK has identified the winner in 92% of the procurements awarded.
- 90% of competitive analyses are performed for repeat clients.
- Each competitive analysis (procurement or set of competitors) is performed on a fixed price basis.
